- News Release:
The company Karl Kilpper GmbH was founded in 1850 in
Weissach by master-turner Ludwig Kilpper. At first, all
kinds of wooden articles were produced and offered for sale.
Since 1946 the company has specialised in manufacturing
chairs and tables and has developed a furniture program
that can be adapted to various room sizes and customer needs.
Each order delivered and serviced by Karl Kilpper GmbH is
an individual combination of models, wood colouring, upholstery,
accesories and ever single-piece works newly designed according
to customers request.
We offer classic products - timeless and perfect in form
- as well as aesthetical modern chairs and tables which
are introduced to international experts every two years
at the furniture fair Orgatec in Cologne. In cooperating
with important architects we have been able to furnish a
large number of historical and modern buildings like churches,
schools, communal halls, hospitals, conference rooms, nursing
homes and funeral halls to our customers' satisfaction.
The raw material for our high quality seating furniture
is coming from nearly: beech and oak from woods of Weissach
and surroundings.
During the last 25 years we increased our efforts to secure
jobs for our mostly long standing employees by means of
export and developping new models. Our deliveries go als
far as France, Italy, Russia, and Scotland, and most recently
the first large order was placed by Actus Corporation, an
important company in Tokyo, Japan, dealing in furniture.
This order about 200 chairs in solid oak with natural rush
seats and additional special equipment requested by the
customer was for a church in Osaka, Japan, and is to be
shipped by container to Japan this week.
Besides the usual regionally spread advertising material,
